School Clothes for the Toddler Girl

It’s back to school time! Technically, this will be Charlotte’s first time to enter into a school as she heads to Mother’s Day Out next month, so we’ll simply call today’s roundup “school clothes for the toddler girl.” When I received my first official letter from her MDO program, I received instructions for her dress code: comfortable clothes the kids can play in and closed-toe shoes. Well, let me tell you, Gap killed it with amazing back to school options, along with a few other stores like J.Crew and Cuteheads.

Everything can be mixed and matched and made into a million different adorable, play-friendly outfits. I’m totally jealous of this wardrobe. (Some pieces Charlotte snagged and some are still on the wish list.) Because of the versatility of each piece, this roundup may as well be called the capsule wardrobe for the mini. They are pieces that can easily transition into fall and be layered, too. I’ve created each row to represent an outfit (or two), and how different pieces can be mixed and matched. Ready, set, school!

Until it officially cools down a bit, we’ll be pairing these cute tops with our favorite shorts like these and these from Target, these black shorts form Old Navy, and these jeggings from Red Dot Boutique.

  • If you’re a Gap card member (or Old Navy or Banana Republic card member), they are running a special 40% off regular-priced items sale just for you, which is majority of the items I’ve listed. You should only ever shop at Gap during the 40% off sale anyway. Use code FALLGAP until August 24.
  • The leggings from Cuteheads are on sale just for Seven Graces readers until September 3. Use the code 7GRACES to get 20% off all bottoms.

Happy school shopping!

Let’s keep in touch, shall we?
